Bad Dream
In 1973, when Charlie was seven, he lived with his grandparents in a beautiful and old farm. He lived there, because his parents had died in a terrible airplane accident in 1967, when Charlie was one.
In a calm and dark night, the little boy had a nightmare in which he thought he was talking with his parents in a white and brightly lit room. They said he would die soon.
On the next day, the boy woke up freaked out, but he didn’t tell anyone about his terrible nightmare. Charlie and his grandfather went to the city, as they always did, and they went to the cinema. The boy thought the film was interesting and they decided to see it, but they didn’t know the story of the film was very similar to his life, and the main actor died in a white and brightly lit room, like in his dream.
When he arrived home, his grandparents’ neighbors invited him to have lunch in their house. Charlie got really scared when he saw that one of the rooms was identical to the white room in his nightmare. He was very frightened and ran back to his house. On the next day he discovered that the house caught fire and all the people who were inside it died. And he always believes in his dreams from that day on.
